I was wondering what are the conditions of use when storing data on a server.
I am building a simple app and would like to store the following information for one of my users.
2) Name , Brand
3) Protein, Calorie, carbs and fat.
Any detailed information about a product will be done by an API call on the fly.
Any Searches will not refer to my server’s database and will be done to your API.
Would this still breach the conditions?
We do not allow caching of any information. For our enterprise clients, we do have caching options available at an additional charge. Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information.
If your App looks like it was cobbled together in a few days, or you’re trying to get your first practice App into the store to impress your friends, please brace yourself for rejection.
In your blog you say it is possible to do this for historical data such as recipies and diet information WITH WRITTEN PERMISSION. Is this still an option as I would like to use this then as the users scale up move onto a larger plan.
You can submit your app’s interface screenshots and a description of how you are caching the data to email@example.com. We will review your request and provide you with feedback on whether it adheres to our historical caching policy. Thank you.
